ABOUT THE SERVICE


1. Dial Off-Peak / Dial Off-Peak Plus


Off-Peak (or Plus) dialup service from LankaCom is suited for users who want to browse the Internet for unlimited time during the off-peak hours at a very low cost.

Following are some of the features of the service

- Accessible from 20:00 (8 PM) to 08:00 (8 AM) Next day & Full Saturday and Sundays
- No restrictions on amount of usage (unlimited access)
- Registration and renewal through the website by paying through credit card or by Prepaid Card.
- Registrations / renewals can also be done by visiting LankaCom office by purchasing the Prepaid Card.
- Dial Off-Peak is Rs. 300/= (Inclusive of VAT) for 30 days
- Dial Off-Peak Plus is Rs 1000/= (Inclusive of VAT) for 120 days
- One Mail ID provided (username@family.lk) per Registration.
- Web based console to change password, view your session history, view the current status and the payment history.
- Configuration and access procedure is explained in the web site
- No onsite support provided
- One simultaneous connection per User Name.
- After expiry, if you do not renew within 90 days, the User Name will be deleted from the system and it will be available for registration for any user.


2. Dial Any-Time / Dial Any-Time PLUS

Any-Time dialup service from LankaCom is suited for users who want to browse Internet any time of the day for a low cost.

Following are some of the features of the service

- Accessible at any time of the day
  • Dial Any-Time is Rs. 300/= (Inclusive of VAT) for 30hrs within 30 days
  • Dial Any-Time Plus is Rs 1000/= (Inclusive of VAT) for 120hrs within 120 days
- Registration and renewal through the website by paying through credit card or by Prepaid Card.
- Registrations / renewals can be done by visiting LankaCom office by purchasing the Prepaid Card.
- One Mail ID provided (username@family.lk) per Registration.
- Web based console to change password, view your session history, and view the current status and the payment history.

How it works?


1. Through Prepaid Cards With No Pre Access To Internet

• Purchase a prepaid card from Lankacom
• Make a dialup connection to 0112458966 or 0112460440
• Use the following account to login

Username = create
Password = create

• Log on to www.family.lk web site
• Register for the service by choosing preferred “userid”
• Select “Prepaid Card” option as payment method and use “ID” and “pin number” printed on the card
• After successfully registering for the service disconnect the dialup session and reconnect with your own “userid”

2. Through Credit Cards With No Pre Access To Internet

• Make a dialup connection to 0112458966 or 0112460440
• Use the following account to login

Username = create
Password = create

• Log on to www.family.lk web site
• Register for the service by choosing preferred “userid”
• Select “Credit Card” option as payment method
• After successfully registering for the service disconnect the dialup session and reconnect with your own “userid”

3. With Pre Access To Internet

• Log on to www.family.lk web site
• Register for the service by choosing preferred “userid”
• Select “Credit Card” or “Prepaid Card” option as payment method
• Depending on the payment option refer above section 1 or section 2
• After successfully registering for the service connect your dialup connection to 0112458966 or 0112460440 with the your own “userid”
