Visit the Register page. Fill the form and pay
online by using your credit card (Visa /
MasterCard) to complete registration.
If you do not have a credit card, you can also
visit LankaCom office in person and pay by
cash and register yourself. |
2. How do I renew the
Service?
You can login to the My Account using your
user name and password to renew the service.
renewal once again is by paying online.
You can also visit LankaCom office to pay and
renew the service. |
3. How long is the
registration valid?
For package 1 :
Registration is valid for 30 days. After
30 days, you will have to renew the service.

4. Once registered, How do I
connect to the Internet?
You can dial into any of our dialup numbers
with the user name and password that you
entered when you registered in this site. |
5. What is the dialup
numbers to use?
Our Dialup Number is as follows
0112458966 or 0112460440 |
6. Do I need to use any
scripts to connect?
You do not need any scripts. The dialup is
scriptless. |
7. Will I
lose the remaining days if I renew before the
completion of 30 days?
No. When you renew before your current
registration expires, you do not lose the
number of remaining days in your registration.
30 days are added to your current expiry date. |
8. How do I
configure my Outlook Express to check mails?
1. Click Outlook Express icon on the taskbar
to open Outlook Express
2. From tools menu select accounts
3. Click Mail Tab and click Add > Mail
4. Type a name that you prefer to appear in
From section of outgoing mails
5. Then type your email address (E.g.
username@family.lk)
6. Select incoming mail server as POP3
7. enter pop.family.lk as incoming mail server
8. enter smtp.family.lk as outgoing mail
server
9. enter yourname (as in 5 ) as your account
name
10. enter password ( if you need to save
password put a tick on remember password
11. Click finish ………….
12. Click close……………
13. Finally to send and receive mails click
Send/Recv button on main Outlook Express

9. Will the
service work in day time for Dial Off-Peak package? If I dial in daytime
what will happen?
The service is available only from 8 PM to 8
AM the next day. If you try to dial in the
daytime, you will get an error message saying
you are not authenticated. |
